  1. Doug just called Kirk after he talked to Jason a few minutes ago. I checked here to see. We LOVE you guys. I'm so very very very grateful that Ashley passed peacefully. You are an amazing mom, and Jason an amazing dad. That is truly an understatement. I... WE will continue to pray for you and your sweet little boys. May Heavenly Father give you continual peace. Now your little girl truly is your angel, & I know beyond a doubt that she will be with you every step of the rest of your lives. Though heartbreaking circumstances, I can't wait to give you and Jason a big hug very soon. We've checked this blog EVERY morning, and usually it was my girls checking & updating me. They still have photos they love to look at of them with her from her baptism. I am so grateful that you took your personal time to share the rest of her life with us. (And the tears begin to roll...) I LOVE YOU Jason & Connie!!!!!

  2. Connie and Jason--

Thank you for sharing Ashley's reamining life with me. I am Melinda's sister Andrea and your family has really touched me. How comforting to know that we will be with our loved ones again. I know that Ashley will be your guardian angel, just like my Mom is for me. I am so happy that Ashley no longer is suffering and will know the reason why she went through what she did. Thanks again for all your comments and sharing Ashley with us.

  3. I pray you receive the comfort you need at this time. It is hard to let go of the little ones we care for 24 hours a day...literally. The second night after Kris passed away I actually got 8 hours of sleep and then was so jazzed the next day I still had energy when it was time to go to bed. I didn't know what to do with myself. I hope you too will be able to get some rest that you have been sacrificing for your little girl. If you need help, have a question, or need a shoulder then let me know. My number is on Facebook.

  9. What a miracle child Ashley's life was. Our prayers are with you and your family. Thanks for sharing the information on this blog. President Monson stated "Where Love Is, There God Will Be Also." Ashley and your family shared a perfect love. She has blessed multiple people here on earth and now she is going to bless numerous people on the other side, as she continues to do her missionary work. If you guys need anything we are all here for you.

Our Sweet Family, Ashley has had some horrible struggles through out her short 12 years but I guarntee that she touched more lives than any of us will ever know. What an amazing kindered spirit she has been and will continue to be. She will be missed so very much but there will be no more struggles for her. Grandpa Winn finally has the chance to meet this amazing girl once again. Oh the laughs they will share together. We love you guys always. See you soon. Love always, Dad (grandpa), Kimberly, Geni, and Nick, and don't forget Cupcake. Oh how she loved the blanket rides Ashley and the boys gave her.

  12. Connie & family,
You don't know how much your family has helped us. Reading your blog and sharing it with others has helped our testimonies and the testimonies of many families. I spoke in sacrament meeting about the topic of "Come Follow Me". Using some of the thoughts you have shared, helped in getting the point across of following the Savior. His love for us, as you know, is unmeasured by anything we can earthly express. Your family has grown together in love and in faith. Your testimonies are strong and will continue to help others. It is evident in your blog. Others have felt of the Sprit by your sharing this experience. My you have peace and comfort during your time of need. Remember that all is well and during this special time the veil is very thin.
    All our love,
    Steve and Nancy

  13. Thank you so much for sharing Ashley's journey! I have laughed, cried and been completely in awe of your amazing family! You truly are an eternal family and I know the time will come when you will all rejoice and be together again. Connie, though we have only briefly met, I feel like I have known you forever because you have been so willing to share your deepest self with us. I have felt your amazing testimony every day and it has strengthened mine. And, Jason, I have always known what a wonderful person you are but now I know that you are so much more. You have been so strong, tender and compassionate with your family and you have inspired me to always try a little harder to make every moment count! I will continue to pray for the Lord to pour out blessings of peace and comfort on your family! Much love, Susan (Dayley) Forsgren.

  20. Dearest Jason, Connie and boys,
Our hearts are full of love and tenderness for you at this time. Doug has kept us up on what has been happening, and Connie's blog has been such a testimony and faith builder for so many people. We wonder at times in life, "Why" and then can see the growth that is in God's plan even though we would rather not experience the hard times. All we can do is trust that He knows the plan when we don't see the whole picture. Ashley has been a gift to many more than just your family. Now it behooves us to try to live our lives in such a way as to be able to someday be where she is ....In the loving arms of the Savior. Love, Evelyn, Jay and Sarah Dayley
